AK Robinette

Lead Pastor

Pastor AK Robinette serves as the Lead Pastor of CrossCountry Cowboy Church, bringing a deep passion for ministry, missions, and church planting. He has served as a missionary with Assemblies of God U.S. Missions and previously with Assemblies of God World Missions, reaching communities with the message of hope and transformation.

AK studied Pastoral Ministries at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) and Theology at Christ for the Nations Institute, equipping him for leadership and discipleship. He also holds a background in Chemical Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, blending academic excellence with a heart for ministry.

As the former Church Planting Director for the Tennessee Ministry Network AG, AK played a key role in training and equipping church planters, conducting Boot Camps on a national level.

However, his greatest joy has always been pastoring. Along with his wife, JoAnna, AK followed God’s call to plant CrossCountry Cowboy Church, returning to their first love, shepherding a congregation and building a community of faith.

JoAnna Robinette

Online  Pastor

JoAnna Robinette, a Kinston, NC native, has dedicated her life to ministry, serving in evangelism, pastoral ministry, and missions. With a heart for reaching people, she and her husband, AK, have served with both Assemblies of God U.S. and World Missions. Her leadership experience includes serving as Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, Secretary-Treasurer, and Church Planting Director for the Tennessee Ministry Network AG.
A graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute, JoAnna is deeply rooted in biblical theology and passionate about worship and guiding others in their faith journey. She and AK feel honored and privileged to be the founding pastors of CrossCountry Cowboy Church, where they strive to create a welcoming space for people to experience God’s love in a real and transformative way.
Beyond ministry, JoAnna cherishes her role as a wife, mom, and Gigi. Her love for family fuels her passion for serving others and making a lasting impact.

Joshua Robinette

Associate and media  Pastor

Joshua Robinette is a pastor, entrepreneur, and leader dedicated to both ministry and business. He serves as the Assistant Pastor of CrossCountry Cowboy Church, where he and his wife, Kimberly, played a key role in its founding and continue to be integral to its leadership. His passion for faith and service is rooted in his education at Southeastern University, where he earned a B.S. in Practical Theology and Business, equipping him for both pastoral leadership and entrepreneurial success.

Josh is a devoted husband to Kimberly and a loving father to their two children, Jacob and Julia. Whether in the church or the marketplace, he is committed to making a meaningful impact through faith, leadership, and service.

Fran Tyson

Care Pastor

Fran was born and raised in Columbia, TN, and moved to Louisiana in 1983 to pursue ministry. She taught at Oberlin Covenant Christian School and later taught and coached girls' high school basketball and softball at Bethel Christian School in Louisiana. In 2010, Fran moved back to Tennessee with her husband, Jeff, of 41 years, to become houseparents at the Boys Ranch at Lighthouse Christian Camp in Smithville, TN, a refuge for abused and abandoned children. She also served as the Academic Success Director at the South Central Boys and Girls Club, helping guide students to academic achievement. A member of Cross Country Church since 2018, Fran is known as a master connector and teacher who loves Jesus and is passionate about caring for others and serving her community. She and Jeff have five children and 11 grandchildren, with the joy of awaiting the birth of their 12th grandchild.

Hannah McDonald

Worship Pastor

Hannah McDonald is the Worship Pastor at CrossCountry Church and the Owner/Educator at Hannah McDonald Music, where she offers a fun, engaging learning experience for all ages through private voice lessons. With a passion for worship and music education, Hannah creates an environment that encourages growth in both musical skill and spiritual connection. She loves helping others discover and develop their God-given talents while leading the congregation in vibrant worship.

Tonja Rose

Worship leader

Born in Eastern North Carolina, Tonja grew up singing with her dad in a gospel group before moving to Tennessee to pursue a career in country music. There, she signed a record and publishing deal and later joined the Crosby Lane Folk Gospel Group. After taking time off to care for a family member, she returned to music as a singer and songwriter, traveling to churches to speak and perform while sharing her testimony. With a heart for Jesus, she is passionate about using her music to inspire and uplift others. Recently, her song “I Miss Front Porches” hit #1 on the Singing News Magazine Faith Country Chart.

Jen Evans

Children's Pastor

Jen Evans is a PK with over 20 years of experience teaching children and youth in various ministries, from nursery to young adults. She is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus and the Word of God. Jen is also trained in trauma-informed care, life coaching, and has experience working with special needs. Her faith journey spans over four decades, including mission trips to the U.S., Mexico, and Thailand, and involvement in a Christian organization combating child trafficking.  She and her husband, Kevin, are blessed with a blended family of five adult children and eight grandchildren.

John and Susan Walters

Student Ministries Leaders

Married since 1997, Susan and John share a life grounded in faith and service, making a positive impact on those around them. Their love for the Lord guides everything they do, both personally and professionally.

Susan previously served as the Office Manager at Gulf Coast Charter Academy South and as an Administrative Assistant at Woodlawn Preparatory School in Columbia, Mississippi, where she played a key role in supporting the school’s daily operations.

John is a Social Studies teacher at The Webb School, where he is dedicated to shaping young minds and fostering a love for history and social sciences. He studied Curriculum & Instruction at Liberty University, earning an Ed.S degree. With a passion for education and a commitment to student success, John continues to inspire and guide his students both in and outside of the classroom.

Ty Linscomb

Bookkeeper

Ty was born and raised in Louisiana and a graduate of YWAM, a global movement full of young people driven by a passion to know God and make Him known. She moved to Tennessee to work at Lighthouse Ministry Camp, a refuge for abused and abandoned children, where she served as Administration and Food Service Director. With a deep passion for children and sharing Jesus' love, Ty is currently the secretary for the Maury Baptist Association, supporting the Director of Missions in their ministry efforts. She is also raising a beautiful 10-year-old daughter, guiding her to become everything God has created her to be.

Monique Moran

Creative Director

Monique, originally from Miami, Florida, is first and foremost the proud mother of two beautiful girls. As an entrepreneur, she has successfully owned and operated multiple business concepts and now helps others build their own successful ventures. Monique has also worked with multimedia teams across the country, including being part of Lee Greenwood’s team to promote a large-scale concert at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama, celebrating his 40 years in music. The event featured multiple chart-topping artists across all genres and  the event was filmed for TV. In addition, she has designed and created decks for Layne Riggs, a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver, and the forever loved George Jones. Monique is also the director of Savannah’s Soldiers, a national military appreciation 501(c)(3) organization. Currently, she owns and operates a boutique equestrian center and a short-term rental company, blending her passion for business with her love for unique, hands-on experiences. Above all, Monique loves Jesus and strives to live her life in a way that allows her to share her faith with others.
