Heaven’s Best Attorney:- The Holy Spirit
This sermon continues a multi-part series on the believer's inheritance in Jesus Christ, focusing specifically on the role of the Holy Spirit in helping believers access and walk into all that has been made available to them through Christ's redemptive work. Drawing primarily from Galatians 3 and John 14 and 16, the pastor explains that Jesus redeemed believers from the curse of the law so that the blessings of Abraham might come upon them. Among all those blessings, the promise of the Holy Spirit is singled out as the most essential, because He is the administrator and revealer of the entire inheritance. The Holy Spirit is described through five key ministries: teaching, bringing things to remembrance, guiding into all truth, disclosing things to come, and revealing all that belongs to Jesus and therefore to believers. The pastor draws on the legal concept of an advocate or attorney to illustrate the Holy Spirit's role, arguing that without Him, believers are left as orphans, unable to navigate or possess what has been willed to them through Christ's death. The sermon carries an urgent tone, emphasizing that in increasingly perilous times, the fullness of the Holy Spirit is not a luxury but an absolute necessity.
